Honolulu Road Diet Results to be Presented to City Council
Your voice matters! The Honolulu Road Diet plan continues to move forward and is on track for implementation. The City of Glendale Public Works Department – Traffic and Transportation Division will be reporting to the Glendale City Council the results of the city’s public outreach efforts concerning the Honolulu Avenue Road Diet Test Case. This presentation will be made at the regular meeting of the city council on Tuesday, June 19 at 6 p.m. at the city council chambers at Glendale City Hall, 613 E. Broadway, 2nd Floor in Glendale. If you have an interest in this project, please plan on attending this meeting to learn more about the test case and provide comments for the city’s information and consideration. A copy of the staff report will be available on June 15 on the city’s website www.ci.glendale.ca.us. This is your chance to become a part of the process. Do not miss it. Concerned parties at the two community outreach meetings this past March and April brought up some very good concerns. Based on those concerns, the city implemented changes. Your input is important.
Please remember to join us at the grand opening celebration of Yoga Rock Studios this weekend, June 15-17. The Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce will be there Friday at noon to have the official ribbon cutting. Snacks and drinks will be provided during that time. Owners Rose Robles and Nicole Mercolino know you’ll love the way your body looks and feels with a regular yoga practice.
During the grand opening celebration weekend all classes are free. Visit www.yogarockstudios.com to sign up for classes and to find out more about them.
