1948 – 2012

Sharon A. Saurer, 63, of Montrose passed away June 11. Sharon was born in Chicago, Ill. and moved to La Cañada with her family. She married Bob Saurer at St. Bede Catholic Church.     Sharon volunteered at Verdugo Hills Hospital and she was a secretary at Verdugo Hills Contact Lens. Sharon and Bob continued to have a beautiful marriage for 42 years.

Sharon is preceded in death by her mother Blanche Hamilton and her father William Hamilton. She is survived by her husband Bob, son Rob Saurer Jr., brother Rick Hamilton and wife Bonnie, daughter Kacie of Redmond, Wash. and brother Bill Hamilton of Rialto, Calif.

A memorial Mass will be held on June 23 at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
