IN Brief

Energy Goals Met, Rebates Ending
Energy Upgrade California in Los Angeles County announced it is nearing its projected goals for residential Energy Upgrade incentive payouts. Due to high interest in home energy upgrades offered through the program, in partnership with Southern California Edison and Southern California Gas Company, L.A. County’s matching incentive funds are expected to be fully committed by the end of September. As a result, L.A. County will no longer accept L.A. County Incentive Applications for matching incentives after Sept. 28 for Basic and Advanced Path projects.

Owners of detached, single-family homes must submit a completed and date stamped L.A. County Incentive Application as well as a date stamped Utility Confirmation of Incentive Reservation on or before Sept. 28 to qualify for up to $4,000 in L.A. County incentives.

Other requirements apply. For more information, consumers can visit www.energyupgradeCA.org/LACounty.

L.A. County’s matching rebates for Flex Path jobs are not impacted by the Sept. 28 deadline and will remain intact until its retrofit goals are met.
