Walking through the doors of Montrose Bowl is truly like stepping back in time. Montrose Bowl, which opened up back in 1936, has been a family owned and operated business for the past 25 years. The 1950s-style, eight-lane bowling alley is one of the smallest alleys in all of Los Angeles. It is definitely a unique little place and it’s not hard to see why it has been featured in so many film productions and is the perfect place for a party!

That’s why the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce is hosting our 1st Annual Family Bowling Night on Thursday, Sept. 20 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Montrose Bowl. Anyone and everyone who is looking for a fun night out with the family should attend this event. The cost is $20 per player and that includes bowling and food. It is just $10 for kids 6 to 12 and non-bowlers. You can register as a team or as an individual to be placed on a team with other individuals. If you do not specify your team, we will put you onto one. There will be a 50/50 cash raffle. The tickets are $5 each and the winner does not need to be present to win! We will also have a cash bar that will feature many choices of beer, wine, sodas and water. Remember this is a family friendly event and we will have a bumper lane for kids to join in on the fun.  Register early because this event will sell out!

Montrose Bowl is an ideal location for virtually any occasion. Guests come to have fun and the decor and party atmosphere make it an enjoyable place to visit. They hold parties for companies, communities, schools and families. They offer a unique space for wedding showers, bachelor and bachelorette parties, wedding rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, baby showers, kids parties and more! It can house private parties for as many as 95 people. With prior notice, Montrose Bowl also serves a wide range of food, including hot dogs and onion rings. It always has a large selection of beers and soft drinks available. Montrose Bowl has open bowling Monday thru Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the last Monday night of every month and has private party reservations in the evenings and weekends.
