Massage Envy Spa – Glendale and the Arthritis Foundation have joined forces to host Healing Hands for Arthritis, a one-day national event to build awareness and raise funds to fight arthritis.

On Sept. 19, Massage Envy Spa – Glendale will donate $10 from every one-hour massage or facial to the Arthritis Foundation. Last year, this one-day, nationwide event raised nearly $500,000 for the Arthritis Foundation. In addition, Massage Envy Spa – Glendale will discount the cost of a massage and facial by $10 for this one day only. Massages will be $39 and facials will be $49.

“We strongly encourage the Glendale community to come out on Sept.  19 to help fight arthritis, a disease that affects 50 million Americans and is America’s leading cause of disability,” said Helen McDonagh, Glendale Massage Envy Spa owner. “There’s no better way to give back than to treat yourself, a friend, family member or co-worker to a relaxing and rejuvenating massage or facial.”

For those who don’t have time on Sept. 19 to receive a massage or facial, 10% will be donated to the Arthritis Foundation for gift cards purchased in any denomination over the phone on that day.

All proceeds donated during Healing Hands for Arthritis will support the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide efforts to prevent, control and cure arthritis. Additionally, Murad®, Massage Envy Spa’s exclusive skin care partner, will donate 10% to the Arthritis Foundation of all sales from their products sold at Massage Envy Spa locations during the event.
