California Highway Patrol responded to a motorcycle accident at 11:22 a.m. today on Angeles Crest Highway mile marker 27.65.

The driver apparently lost control of his motorcycle. No other vehicle was involved in the accident.

“The 38-year-old male was transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead,” said Officer Craycraft.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office is not releasing the victim’s name pending family notification.

The investigation is ongoing.
