Canada Wants Vets for Pipeline
Submitted by Andy GERO
A non-profit company in Canada is seeking U.S. veterans to work on an oil pipeline, and a VFW-affiliated job board has contacts to help fill the positions.
Vetjobs.com, partly owned by VFW, noted in July that the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC) anticipates a shortage of 114,000 workers in the Canadian province of Alberta and wants U.S. veterans to fill the jobs.
They are in need of journeymen pressure pipe welders; heavy equipment technicians; steamfitter-pipefitters; quality examiners/inspectors and many other positions. To apply, visit www.vetjobs.com.
