Witnesses reported to Glendale police shortly before noon that they saw a person approach the front door of a home in the 2600 block of Sycamore Avenue in La Crescenta, knock on the door several times, then walk to the rear of the house. Witnesses contacted GPD which now has patrol units and air support in the area searching for the suspect.

This is typical of the knock-knock burglars who will go to the front door, knock to see if anyone is at home and break in that home through other means.

Sgt. Tom Lorenz of the Glendale Police Dept. advises anyone in the area to call 911 if they see any suspicious behavior.
