Jobs for Veterans

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority has an immediate need to fill about 30 positions in the rail operations technical area by Dec. 31, 2012.

The Metro prefers to fill these positions with vets. In addition to Metro’s ads, CCD has forwarded and discussed these opportunities with Camp Pendleton and other military installations throughout the Region and posted on military.com http://military.com and other social media. Metro has booths at several job fairs over the next few weeks.

The following is a list of the job titles and number of available positions:

Traction Power Inspector – 20 positions; Track Inspector – 6 positions; Rail Electronic Communications Inspector – 7 positions.
