All Souls Lantern Festival
St. George’s Episcopal Church presents its annual All Souls Lantern Festival from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 2 in the church patio. The event sets aside time for folks to remember people in their lives who have died, and to acknowledge people from the past who have held an important memory in their lives. The service joins the traditions of the ancient Celtic remembrance of All Souls with the Japanese custom of “Tōrō nagashi” (floating lanterns).

Those who wish to participate may arrive early to bring photos of people they wish to honor so that they can be placed next to lit candles on the lawn.\For more information, call (818) 790-3323, or email office@SaintGLC.org.

St. George’s Episcopal Church is located at 808 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada.
