The Glendale Police Dept. is asking for the public’s help in locating Megan Dipiazza, 33, of Sunland. She has not been seen since Nov. 11.

According to a GPD statement, a note was discovered  in her apartment “saying goodbye to her family.” The statement also notes that she has a history of depression.

Her husband Sal is also asking for the public’s help in locating his wife.

“She was last seen in Sunland. I was the last person to see her on Sunday night at 8:30,” he said.

Phone records indicate that Megan had texted someone at about 10 p.m. that night.

“But we don’t know who that person is,” Sal said.

Both Megan and Sal are alumni of Crescenta Valley High School and know the area well.

“But she is a beach person,” Sal said. He added her favorite place is the beach. He has contacted friends along the coast for help in finding his wife.

“She has never done anything like this before,” he said. “It has been two and a half days.”

Megan has blond hair and green eyes, she is 5’6” tall and weighs 122 pounds. There is no indication of foul play, no suspicious activity has been identified, stated GPD.

The family is concerned for Megan’s welfare and has been working with GPD detectives.

“I just want her to come home,” Sal said.

Megan’s vehicle is a 2013 gray Toyota Scion plate number 6XJR885, but the vehicle may not have any plates on it.
