This year Verdugo Hills Hospital (VHH) will be celebrating its 40th year anniversary and in celebration the hospital will be hosting an anniversary gala at the annual Poinsettia Ball fundraiser on Saturday, Dec. 1. The event will be held in the Crystal Ballroom of the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets are $175 per person.
The event will consist of fine dining, entertainment and a live auction, along with a new and unique raffle featuring 20 or more various-themed “Trees and Treasures.” The Trees and Treasures displays will showcase various themed trees, including a Mardi Gras tree, USC tree, a Shop ’til You Drop tree and two $1,000 cash prize trees.
Guests will also have an opportunity to participate in a live auction consisting of four luxurious vacation packages, including a dream vacation to Park City Utah or Bahamas. Proceeds from this event will support capital equipment needs at VHH such as a new Mobil C-Arm unit which takes images at the patient’s bedside, eliminating the need to move critically ill patients as well as other added benefits.
