5600 Block of Bramblewood Road in La Cañada Flintridge, three sets of golf clubs were stolen from a garage sometime on Nov. 24 between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

3000 block of Encinal Avenue in La Crescenta, a wall belonging to Crescenta Valley Water District was vandalized by graffiti overnight.

3800 block of Hampstead Road in La Cañada, while a resident was sleeping he heard the doorbell rang. He woke up and went to the front door. He noticed the door was ajar. He walked through his home but did not see anything or anyone in his home. He contacted the sheriff’s station at 12:30 a.m.


Nov. 25
1900 block of Verdugo Boulevard in La Cañada, several items including a radio and airbag from a steering wheel column were stolen from a vehicle that was parked in the parking lot of the United Artists Theater between 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.


Nov. 24
Angeles Crest Highway, mile marker 27, in Angeles National Forest. A 37-year-old woman was cited for receiving stolen property. Deputies discovered that the registration sticker that was on the license plate did not belong to the vehicle. The woman reportedly told the deputy she had received the registration sticker from a friend. The incident occurred at 4:14 p.m.

1500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a man entered the 7 Eleven and walked out with an 18 pack of beer at 1:35 a.m.


Nov. 22
Angeles Crest Highway and Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a 32-year-old Pasadena man was arrested for driving under the influence after deputies performed a routine traffic stop at 11:13 p.m.


Nov. 21
520 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a 2008 red, four door GMC Yukon Denali was stolen from the parking lot of Ralphs Market. A witness, who is an employee at the market, reported that he was taking a nap in his car when he heard an alarm activate. He saw a man, described as black, 6’ 2” tall about 30 to 35 years old in a silver BMW that was parked next to the Denali. He saw another man, described as black, 5’7” tall, 30 to 35 years old sitting in the driver’s seat of the Denali. The witness heard the alarm go off several times while the man was sitting in the vehicle. The suspect then drove the Denali out of the parking lot, traveling north on Indianola Way and out of view. The suspect in the BMW drove out of the parking lot traveling westbound on Foothill Boulevard and out of view. The vehicle was equipped with LoJack and OnStar service. Deputies contacted the CV Sheriff’s Station with the vehicle’s information, listing it as stolen. OnStar located the vehicle in the 500 block of Macdonald Street in Pasadena. Pasadena police were able to recover the vehicle. The items that were in the Denali at the time it was stolen were missing. The incident occurred at 1:45 p.m.


Nov. 20
2600 Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a bank teller at U.S. Bank reported that a woman about 50 years old, wearing a red wig and large sunglasses approached the counter at the bank and handed the teller a Wisconsin identification and a check that was signed and endorsed. The teller realized that both items were counterfeit. The suspect was able to give some relevant information concerning the account the check was drawn on, however the teller told the customer the ID and check were both counterfeit and she would have to hold onto them. The suspect left stating she would call the police. She left the bank at 3:30 p.m.

3100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, an 18-year-old Tujunga man who worked at Orchard Hardware Supply (OSH) was arrested after another employee allegedly discovered he had been taking items from the store. After a four month investigation by store officials, the employee reportedly left the store with a shopping cart full of items and placed them into his vehicle without attempting to pay for them. The thefts allegedly occurred on Nov. 1.
