Snyder, Celeste Jean passed away peacefully on Nov. 26 at home in La Crescenta. Born in New Bedford, Mass. to Manuel and Maria Fernandes; beloved wife of the late Don Snyder; loving mother to Donna and Paula and the late Kelly Snyder; cherished sisters Mary Lane, Del (John) Fontana, Marlene Vaughn and sister-in-law of the late Manuel (Dee) Fernandes and the late Johnny (Marilyn) Fernandes;

brother-in-law David (Wanda) Snyder, sister-in-law Betty Snyder and late brothers-in-law Dean, Eldie, Jack and sister-in-law June; adoring aunt and endearing friend to many.

Vigil on Friday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. and funeral Mass on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 11 a.m. both at St. James The Less Catholic Church, 4625 Dunsmore Ave., La Crescenta. Interment to follow at San Fernando Mission Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Celeste’s honor to St. James the Less Catholic Church and sent to the address above.
