3000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a 60-year-old La Crescenta man was arrested for being drunk in public after deputies witnessed him swaying back and forth and waving to apparently no one.
Deputies could smell the odor of alcohol coming from the man, who allegedly told them he had several beers after work. When asked if he knew where he was, he reportedly said he was in La Cañada and had planned to walk to his home in Sunland. He also continued to insist he was with the police and believed he and the deputy to be old friends, which they were not. He was arrested and transported to the CV Station jail facility at 2:10 p.m.

3700 block of Hampstead Road in La Cañada Flintridge, several tools and other items were stolen from unlocked cabinets in a carport between 10:45 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Dec. 1
4900 block of Crown Avenue in La Cañada, a tankless water heater that was attached to a wall on the side of a resident’s garage was stolen. The home is currently under construction. The incident occurred between Nov. 25 and Dec. 1.
Nov. 30
2800 block of Community Avenue in La Crescenta, someone punched a hole through the lock of the trunk of vehicle. Nothing was reported stolen overnight.
3100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, money and personal information were stolen and the front glass door was shattered at YuYa Spa overnight.
Nov. 29
Cloud and Encinal avenues in La Crescenta, the rear passenger window was shattered and the contents ransacked of a vehicle. It was not certain if anything was stolen. The incident occurred overnight.
Nov. 26
1000 E. Spazier Street in Burbank, a 43-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, both from 91502, were arrested for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, suspicion of possession of medication without a prescription and possession of narcotic’s paraphernalia during a parole compliance search conducted by deputies at 10 a.m.
