Events planned for LCPC
The La Crescenta Presbyterian Center for Children is hosting a Christmas celebration at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 3. All children are invited to come eat, enjoy crafts and get their picture taken with Santa. Dinner begins at 5:30 pm.
On Friday, Dec. 4 extra hands are needed to decorate the church’s Montrose Christmas parade float.
Dinner will be provided.
The church is hosting a Christmas concert on Sunday, Dec. 13. The community is invited to the annual concert which this year features the Cathedral Choir and Cathedral Bells as well as a musical performed by the children titled “Cookin’ up an LCPC Christmas.” Admission is free.

Angel breakfast planned
St. Luke’s Anglican Church is pleased to announce Angel Breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5 for families with young children. This year St. Luke’s will host the breakfast at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 3561 Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta on the corner of Dunsmore Avenue and Foothill Boulevard. Angels will be among us to serve breakfast and sing about the joy they have at Christmas time. Children and their families will be escorted by angels to various stations to enjoy crafts, play time, and hear the story of the nativity. Each child will receive a gift bag to remember their special morning. Everyone is welcome. Donations will be accepted at the door. Please also bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s annual toy drive.
