The La Crescenta Monarchs 10-year-old travel baseball team were finalists in the 12th Annual Thanksgiving Qualifier held last weekend at the Cathedral City Field of Dreams. The Monarchs were one of 11 teams competing in the tournament hosted by Triple Crown Sports and won four out of their six games held over three days. Their finalist status at this tournament qualifies them to compete in the Triple Crown National Championship Game in Colorado early next year.
