Shop Montrose for Women’s Fashion!
If you are a woman who wants something that stands out from the “run of the mill” clothing that you find all over the mall, the Montrose Shopping Park has you covered. In our town you’ll find experienced storeowners and designers who work with you personally to help you find the perfect, unique outfit for this holiday season. Sometimes all it takes is a new top, dress, scarf or nightgown to give us a lift.
Lilian and Karla, gracious long time partners at Holiday Hats & Gowns, are the ones to see for your good taste, formal affairs. This is a store that has a special seating area to relax, sit, and talk, along with your shopping – a lost art alive and well in Montrose. The right gown, like their new strapless black & white dot gown, will make you the belle of the ball. Come see their newest red hats, holiday pins and warm scarves.
The Clothing Market just celebrated their second anniversary in Montrose. This is a colorful, happy store that’s chock full of affordable holiday dresses, red tops, chunky scarves, and fun ponchos for women of all ages and sizes. Fashion changes fast here and all of the clothes are expertly designed by owner Maral, a cute, energetic, mother of two young boys who has a great fashion sense. It’s always fun to see what she’s wearing to get inspired.
If it’s a unique top you’re after check out Revelation Tops. Seasonal theme tops are a specialty here with Christmas themes being a big hit. Red party tops do double duty for the holidays and on into Valentine’s. Tunic tops with hem detailing, crystals, and graphics are the top trend, worn with jeggings. Sisters Mary and Carole love tops, enjoy working together, shop on both coasts, and are trained in the art of color analysis and body typing.
Follow your nose to the best selling aromatherapy candles in town and you will find yourself in Janet’s world at Bella Boutique. Tiny and trendy, this store is like a jewel box of goodies filled with cute, sexy party dresses and the latest fake fur jackets, skinny jeans, and yoga wear. There’s always that “must have” new jewelry item handmade by an artist. Janet, who looks like a model, was a long time customer before buying the store. She has kept it fun and new and a must stop in Montrose.
Lanz nightgowns, cozy p.j.s, Miss Elaine robes, Isotoner and Dearfoam slippers all spell Faye’s. What would these chilly nights be without a new nightgown to cozy up in? Pat, Linda and Val have a long history in town and a wonderful reputation. It’s so comfortable shopping here. Actress Helen Mirren sure enjoyed it when she was filming “Hitchcock,” the movie, earlier this year. It’s in the theaters now and I hear our own Faye’s is very recognizable in the movie. Every weekend in December there will be a surprise special sale going on, an easy place to Christmas shop.
Saving a fun one for last, the theme for this season is “Peace, Joy, Vintage” at Pattye’s Closet. Owner Renee is warm, friendly and an expert on all things vintage. It’s a one of a kind store that many actresses and studios use. You never know who you might see there and the prices are great.
Thanks for reading and shopping local! See you in the Montrose Shopping Park to celebrate Old Town Christmas!
