The winds in Cresccenta Valley are expected to be the strongest through this morning with gusts from 45 to 50 miles per hour.
“The winds should diminish by early this afternoon,” said Rich Thompson, National Weather Service meteorologist.
The cold weather will be around for a couple more days with temperatures dipping into the 30s (degrees Fahrenheit), Thompson said.
Things will warm up Friday and Saturday with temperatures in the low 40s and 50s and high in the 60s. Another front that will bring rain is expected on Saturday night, early Sunday.
