Glendale Fire Dept. assisted by L.A. County Fire Station 63 responded to a house fire on Monday night in the 5100 block of Finehill Avenue in La Crescenta. According to Battalion Chief Vince Rifino, the fire apparently started in the chimney then extended into the attic.
“We ventilated the attic,” Rifino said. He said that fire crews coordinated a quick knock down of the blaze and there were no injuries reported.
