Christmas Eve Service at CV Church
Crescenta Valley Church presents “Christmas … Crazy or Miraculous?” on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Crescenta Valley Church welcomes everyone in La Crescenta, Montrose, Glendale, and beyond to enjoy two candle-lighting services that will get the family in the Christmas spirit. All are invited to come hear Christmas favorites to start the Christmas Eve celebration.

House of Prayer at St. George’s
The new House of Prayer service at St. George’s Episcopal Church has brought heightened awareness to the value of contemplative spiritual practices.

On the third Thursday evening of every month, the general public and church congregants have gathered for a nurturing service of prayer, sacred readings, music and quiet.

Doors open tonight at 6:30 p.m. for silent prayer with the contemplative service beginning at 7 p.m.

Tuesday Table Talk  
On Tuesday, Jan. 8, Bethel Church will offer a screening of the film “Monumental.”

This documentary tells the story of America’s founding in an attempt to discover her true “national treasures” – the people, places, and principles that made America the freest, most prosperous, and generous nation ever. The presentation will be preceded by a potluck supper. The potluck starts at 6:30 p.m.; the presentation starts at 7:15 p.m. followed by dessert and discussion at about 8:45.

This is a free event.
