Emelita Bituin, vice president and manager of Citizens Business Bank of La Cañada Flintridge presented the YMCA of the Foothills with a check for $7,500 as a contribution towards the Y’s annual community support campaign.  The donation was made following the 1st Annual Citizens Business Bank Charity Challenge golf tournament that raised a total of $35,000 for local charities including the Y.

The donation to the Y will be used to create opportunities for community members to learn, grow and thrive.

“We are truly grateful for the generous donation from Citizens Business Bank,” said Kim Beattie, director of Financial Development for the Y. “This donation will allow us to work side by side with the community to make sure everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to come together and feel a sense of belonging.”
