UPDATE 7:15 p.m.:

MSR found an abandoned vehicle that appeared to  have been at the location for several months, said Mike Leum, MSR member.

The vehicle was found to be a stolen vehicle. No one was inside the car, according to a  Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station spokesperson.

The Montrose Search and Rescue team is responding to a call concerning a vehicle over the side of the road on the Angeles National Forest highway.

No information about the vehicle or if there are any occupants is available at the time. The team is still responding to the location. Check back with CVW for updates.
