It’s Oscar™ time again and that means our Oscar Ballot Contest. CV Weekly is proud to present its fourth annual contest. Ballots can be found online and then returned by email, delivery to the office, post mail, drop box, Pony Express, carrier pigeon or any other viable transmission service you wish to use. Just as long as we get it at CV Weekly by the day of the event. The last submission accepted for this year’s contest will be 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23. This gives us time to tabulate the ballots and get ready to watch the Academy Awards™ on Sunday beginning at
4 p.m.

Also, not that we need to tell anyone from L.A., avoid Hollywood at all costs that weekend as it is crazy while the awards and red carpet are set up. It’s best to just stay home and watch the show on TV to see if you won.

Go to cvweekly.com and click the OSCARS 2013 tab to find our ballot in PDF format.  You can then either print it, fill it out and bring it back to our office or you can fill it out digitally on the PDF, save the document and email it back to Wizard@cvweekly.com. If you would rather not use our ballot, just email the same address with your picks written in the body of the email. If it can be read, it will be counted. And remember to put your name, mailing address and email or phone down so we can contact you if you win and send out your prize. The winner will also be announced in the paper the following week.
