Music Event Fundraiser at St. George’s
On Saturday, Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. St. George’s Episcopal Church is hosting “A Spontaneous Encounter with Music,” a music for charity event to benefit Parkinson’s disease research. Program presenters will be Susanne Shapiro, keyboard, Anthony Brazier, flute, Mary Torregrossa, poet, Lysbeth Chuck, Lois Zanteson, watercolor art, Ruth-Ann Carlock, oil art, Sarah Freed, sketching.

Come watch, participate, or meditate. Admission is free, donations to St. George’s Episcopal Church will be donated to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. For further information, call Connie at (310) 963-1480.

Gospel Singer at La Crescenta Presbyterian Church
La Crescenta Presbyterian Church is pleased to have gospel singer Ray Sidney performing at the 9 a.m. service on Sunday, Feb. 10.

Sidney has performed all over the world and throughout the United States. He performs regularly at the House of Blues for their Gospel Sunday brunches. Sidney and his accompaniment choir, Firm Soundation, were recently featured in a CNN story, “Sin and Salvation.”
