Accident Closes Crest

Angeles Crest Highway is closed for an undetermined amount of time due to a fatal vehicle over the side at mile marker 32.5.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s from the Crescenta Valley station have responded along with Montrose Search and Rescue. The cause of the accident has yet to be determined. LASD Homicide unit is in transit to the location.

“All lanes are closed due to the fatality,” said Sgt. Rangel from California Highway Patrol.
