April 8
2700 block of El Caminito Avenue in La Crescenta, the glass panel of a residential front door was smashed and the rear glass sliding door was smashed at a residence. A laptop computer and jewelry were stolen and several rooms were ransacked between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
3600 block of Fairesta Street in Glendale, a resident reported that when he arrived home he noticed a Toyota 4Runner parked in front of his residence, facing eastbound. As the resident drove toward his home, he witnessed a man walking up his driveway. When the man realized the resident was about to park behind the Toyota, he ran toward the 4Runner and fled the area. The man is described as Hispanic, about 30 years old, 5’8” tall, average build with short black hair and wearing a white buttoned up long sleeve shirt and dark colored dress pants. The resident discovered that cash, tools, electronic games and computers were stolen from his home.
He witnessed the man at his home at 10:46 a.m.
April 6
4800 block of Ocean View Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a 2009 black four-door BMW 750 was stolen from a residence. The homeowners arrived home to find that someone went through a jewelry box in a master bedroom and a purse was rifled through. The keys to the car were taken from the kitchen and the car was stolen between 5:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.
April 4
3400 block of Fairesta Street in Glendale, the driver’s side window was smashed and several items were stolen from a vehicle overnight.
3200 block of Brookhill Street in Glendale, the driver’s side front window was shattered and a global positioning system was stolen from a vehicle overnight.
2200 block of Waltonia Drive in Montrose, a woman reported hearing the sound of glass breaking coming from her child’s bedroom. She investigated and saw her neighbor standing outside by the window. She reportedly asked her what she was doing and she allegedly replied, “Someone attacked my dog” then walked away.
The incident occurred at 7:05 p.m.
April 3
2400 block of Florencita Avenue in Montrose, deputies witnessed a 50-year-old Montrose man riding his bicycle without a light. They recognized him from previous contact to be on probation for possession of narcotics. After stopping the man, deputies reported noticing that he displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. After an investigation, deputies discovered a glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine inside his pants pocket. The also found a clear baggie containing white crystal thought to be methamphetamine, it was concealed in the suspect’s sock.
He was arrested for suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence at 9:31 p.m.
2700 block of Fairmount Avenue in La Crescenta, the front passenger door was smashed and sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle overnight.
2900 block of Franklin Street in La Crescenta, a global positioning system was stolen from a vehicle overnight.
April 2
100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the front passenger window was broken and a purse was stolen from a locked vehicle between 4 p.m. and 4:55 p.m.
2700 block of Prospect Avenue in La Crescenta a laptop computer and game console were stolen from a home between 8 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.
March 26
1100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a 29-year-old Los Angeles woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license at 2:34 a.m.
