Oct. 4, 1943 – April 6, 2013

Roland was 69 years old and was born Oct. 4, 1943 in Rawlins, Wyo. to Leonard Henry and Elizabeth Mae Schlef. He was one of three children and was in the Air Force and was a Viet Nam vet. He retired from his chosen profession in accounting in 2001.

He leaves behind his wife of 48 years Eleonore; his brothers Harold from Moreno Valley and Lowell from Moorpark; two loving sons Bruce Scott from Pasadena, and Scott Brian and soon-to-be daughter-in law Deborah Brandle of Mesa, Ariz.

Roland loved golfing, traveling and spending time with family. Services for Roland will be on Tuesday, April 16, at 11:45 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery.
