Glendale Community College held its commencement ceremony on June 12 at the college campus.
The student commencement speaker was Cameron McGee (shown above) who was recognized for his campus leadership and academic achievement. He was selected as one of 10 Men and Women of Distinction at Glendale Community College for 2012-13.
Associated degrees in science and arts as well as certificates of completion in several subjects were awarded to the hundreds of candidates gathered.
Graduates who achieved a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and those who have earned permanent membership in the Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society, were identified by a gold stole.
Former state assemblymember Anthony J. Portantino of La Cañada received an Honorary Associate in arts degree.
