Assistance League Glendale announced its 2013 scholarship winners on June 11 presenting the winners with a $1,000 award to be used when they enter school in the fall. This is the 51st year that ALG has honored Glendale high school and Glendale Community College students with scholarships.
This year’s winners are Ania Nazarian, Clark Magnet School; Laura Lockhart, Crescenta Valley; Emily Zadikian, Verdugo Academy; Christine Kabayan, Glendale High; Zeepyoor Khechoorian, Hoover High; Jane Pojawa, Glendale Community College; Caroline Aghajanian, Glendale College and Brittney Fierro, Glendale College. The awards were presented at the June ALG luncheon with the girls and their parents.
