LCCRS Offers Calendar of Events
La Crescenta Center for Spiritual Living is hosting Cowboy Church with Karen Mitchell and the CC Wranglers on Sunday, July 7 at 10 a.m. followed by a Western barbecue with steak, chicken and yummy sides. After celebrating the 4th of July, all are invited to come celebrate Cowboy Church.

Wear cowboy hats and boots (and something inbetween).

There will be raffles and good fun-loving friendship all around along with honoring our military men who serve this great country.

Saturday Spiritual Movie Night is on July 13 at 7 p.m. The film planned is, “The Science of Miracles” by Gregg Braeden.

The next Wednesday Night Topics will be on July 17 at 7 p.m. Topic is Eat by Color with Chakras Florence Ren Figueroa.

Every Sunday a metaphysical lesson is at 9:30 a.m. followed by the celebration service at 10 a.m.

Holiday Celebration at First Baptist
First Baptist Church at La Crescenta is holding an Independence Day parking lot event. The parking lot opens at 3 p.m.; the event begins at 5 p.m.     The parking lot will be open for families to enjoy the festivities at La Crescenta Elementary School and the fireworks display at about 9:15 p.m.

The church will be serving hot dogs, drinks and other goodies for a nominal fee. This will also be the beginning of their Summer Night Concert Series that will raise funds for the Crescenta Valley Drug and Alcohol Prevention Coalition.
