Concert Under the Stars at First Baptist Church La Crescenta

Everyone is invited to Concert Under the Stars in the First Baptist Church La Crescenta parking lot on Aug. 17 at 7 p.m. and admission is free! The evening features the band Café Fuego.

Roger Espinoza’s Café Fuego is a good example of what could be called “flamenco light” or “flamenco fusion.” It’s a modern flamenco-minded acoustic guitar playing that tends to be light, relaxed, and pop-influenced. Café Fuego brings a fresh, new eclectic sound that’s not only pleasing to music lovers but reaches the ear of all generations, drawing the listener into their mystical gypsy rhythms and sounds. You don’t have to worry about dinner, either. There will be gourmet food trucks available right there all night so you can enjoy your meal as you listen to the music and visit with friends! This is a great event to invite your neighbors, family, friends, random people at Starbucks, etc., to. So come by and enjoy a night under the stars. School is starting in two weeks. Did you get you backpack yet?
