Key Club Receives Peanut Day Proceeds

Three young juniors from La Cañada High School’s Key Club (sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of La Cañada) are shown with a replica of a check for $817.17 presented to them by Kiwanis president-elect Tom Passanisi at a recent club meeting at Descanso Gardens.

The money was raised in two Peanut Day events held by the Key Clubbers and members of Kiwanis on two Sundays at Ralphs’ supermarkets in the city.
