Have you ever wondered … what is a chamber of commerce? According to the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (www.acce.org), a “chamber of commerce is an organization of businesses seeking to further their collective interests, while advancing their community, region, state or nation.”

At the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce, it is one of our intentions to work toward cooperation with all community institutions and organizations for achieving economic well being, cultural advancement and social harmony. We believe that helping promote businesses through tight networking will lead to prosperity throughout our community. There are multitudes of ways in which we work to do this.

Members of our chamber host monthly mixers, which encourage new and current business owners, citizens and other important members of the community to stay connected. Mixers also give businesses the opportunity to market their trade and celebrate milestones such as anniversaries and grand openings. We offer ribbon cutting ceremonies for new members and help by advertising in local weekly and monthly newspapers, on our website and in our monthly e-newsletter. We will also display your brochures or business cards in our office.

The chamber staff and board of directors work diligently to provide many community events throughout the year that benefit our local organizations. We also recognize those outstanding members for their hard work and dedication to the betterment of the Crescenta Valley. The Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce strives to maintain the success of our community.

These are just a few benefits of joining a chamber of commerce.
