Cindy Cleghorn of Tujunga announced that she will be joining the board of directors of the California Small Business Association (CSBA). As a new board member, Cleghorn will play a vital role in representing the needs of CSBA members and the millions of small businesses throughout California.
Cleghorn is the owner of C&M Printing, Copying, Mailing in Tujunga. Over the years, she has received a number of awards, most recently being honored by Congressman Adam Schiff as 2013 Woman of the Year. Cleghorn is also a member of several other business related associations, serves on the board of a Los Angeles City certified neighborhood council and its regional and citywide alliances with a special emphasis on planning and land use.
CSBA’s board of directors develops and guides CSBA’s policy positions, annual events and advocacy efforts. Specifically, the board members play an integral role in advocating for small businesses before state and federal policy makers. Moreover, CSBA’s board helps develop the annual California Small Business Day event, which honors small business owners from legislative districts across the state and includes speeches from key elected officials in California.
