Former Los Angeles resident Anthony “Tony” Madrid, 67, died Saturday, Aug. 17.

Tony dedicated his early years serving our country in the U.S. Navy. During his time in the Navy he traveled the world and was proud of his work. He later became a barber and worked in Montrose for over 20 years. It was there that he met his wife who shared many of the same passions in life. They both worked as stylists and enjoyed camping and traveling as well as entertaining. They shared 10 wonderful years together along with the family.

Tony was a wonderful person who offered love, support and company to friends and family who will miss him tremendously. Tony – We love and miss you.
