Suzy Jacobs WEB 2013
Board Member in the News Joe Allen, CA Narcotic Officer Association, talked about “Molly” (for molecule), a dangerous club drug you knew as Ecstasy, on NBC4.  www.nbclosangeles.com

National Epidemic: The Medicine Abuse Project webinar: Ninety percent  of addictions begin during teenage years. Twenty-five percent of teens report having misused or abused a prescription drug at least once in their lifetime; that’s roughly 5,000,000 teens, or almost twice the population of Chicago! One in four teens believes prescription drugs can be used as a study aid. Nearly one-third of parents believe ADHD medication can improve a child’s academic or testing performance, even if the teen does not have ADHD.

Tell us: are Molly and medicine abuse problems locally?

Parents: talk to your kids!
