CSL Calendar
The Center for Spiritual Living – La Crescenta is hosting MusicFest featuring the students of Cecilia Celis’s C.C.’s World of Music. The award winning piano students will be performing at the fundraiser on Sunday, Sept. 15 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Center for Spiritual Living – La Crescenta.

The students will be performing a variety of compositions including those of Beethoven, Liszt, Debussy, Lecuona, as well as familiar tunes including themes from “Love Story,” “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” “Music! Music! Music!” and several others.

Featured young performers are Kiersten Abueg of La Crescenta, Jarred Taecharatkij of Santa Clarita, Marcelle Uy of Sylmar, Nicole & Caitlin Trombatore of Sunland, Aliza and Tamiera Cervas along with Jimuel and Jeth del Castillo of North Hills.

CSL will be holding a workshop on how to deal with grief on Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. at the center. It will be presented by Patricia Kennedy, MFT. A love donation will be collected.

On Sunday, Sept. 29 at 12:30 p.m., Freddie Weber presents, “Be Here Now.” Freddie’s one-woman show is based on Eckhart Tolle’s, “A New Earth.”

The cost is $20 pre-registered and $25 at the door. Freddie will also be the guest speaker and musician for the 11 a.m. celebration service.



Bible Studies at Montrose Church
A variety of Bible studies and times are available at Montrose Church. A women’s and men’s Bible basics class and study of the Book of James are just some of the studies taking place.

Anyone interested in attending one of the studies can go online to register (http://montrosechurch.org/biblestudy). Pre-registration helps with planning for childcare and group assignments.

Women’s Day Class
Community Bible Study, Glendale invites the public to join its Women’s Day Class that is studying the book of Romans, the apostle Paul’s fullest statement of the Gospel. The study meets from 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Glendale Presbyterian Church, 125 S. Louise St., Glendale.
