Pancakes, Food Trucks, Music and More
Come one, come all! For all of our pancake lovers out there, come join us this Saturday, Sept. 21 at Crescenta Valley High School for the 6th Annual Pancake Breakfast. Breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Crescenta Valley High School quad, 2900 Community Ave. in La Crescenta. Even if you are not much of a pancake person, this will be a great opportunity to get involved and help support our community. Also, Dr. Stacy Gin, doctor of optometry, will be in the CV High School quad in The Vision Mobile offering free vision exams.
Tickets can be purchased at the Crescenta Valley chamber office or through the CV Town Council. Ticket price is $5 pre-sale, and $6 day of the event. The ticket prices include one raffle entry to win an iPad Mini!
Recap – Remembering 9/11
On Wednesday, Sept. 11, Crescenta Valley chamber members hosted a tribute with the help of The Early Rodders Car Club. The car club showed its appreciation to our five local fire stations, the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s station, and Glendale Police-Montrose Station. Crescenta Valley community members hosted a tribute. Citizens and school children lined the streets as the cars drove by. It was a great way to acknowledge our very own heroes within our community. This is an event that we hope to continue on an annual basis and encourage our community members to look forward.

Run with us! Running the Foothills 5K Run/walk is on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 7 a.m. at Two Strike Park, 5107 Rosemont Ave., La Crescenta. Help support our schools and local youth organizations!
Our scholarship golf tournament is coming up on Saturday, Oct. 19. Join us at Verdugo Hills Golf Course for a great time on the green! It’s our opportunity to raise money for four deserving seniors.
