Women’s Divorce Resource (WDR), an outreach for single women going through divorce or those widowed, is holding a mixer on Oct. 16. “Sip n Shake” will be held at 6 p.m. at Los Gringos Locos, 631 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada. There is no cost to attend.

WDR is a non-profit organization whose members are passionate about helping and educating women of all ages through different stages in life. Whether it be transitioning to a different career, family changes or divorce, women can access a group of trusted professionals, CPAs, attorneys, coaches, insurance agents and financial planners who want to help others in need of direction, resources, advocacy or empowerment. Members specialize in addressing the needs of divorced, separated, single and widowed women as they transition to a new status in life.
