The driver of a truck lost control of his/her vehicle and hit a power pole at 1:07 p.m. this afternoon in the 3600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta. The incident has left about 60 customers without power. Glendale Fire Dept. responded. Glendale Water & Power is currently on scene. It is expected to take three to four hours before power is restored.

The east bound lanes of Foothill Boulevard are blocked off and the west bound lanes are backed up.
According to Brandy Villanueva, Emergency Services coordinator for Glendale Fire Dept., this was a single vehicle accident and no injuries were reported.

The incident is under investigation.
