Spooktacular! Then Blink! It’s Christmas!
Tonight is the night! It’s a family-friendly Halloween party in the Montrose Shopping Park! Join us for our annual Halloween Spooktacular! This is such a fun time for all when the merchants hand out candy to costumed children under the age of 12. You’ll find parents, neighbors and relatives sharing in their children’s delight as they experience trick-or-treat Montrose style. It’s going to be a night of ghoulish fun and games with bounce houses, rides, food booths, music, and more! You can even get your well-behaved four-legged, furry friends into the spooky spirit at our pet costume contest!
Our many restaurants will be ready for you with Spooktacular specials. The Star Café is particularly enjoyable with their giant suspended pumpkins. You’ll feel like you are at Hogwarts in a Harry Potter movie. Don’t forget to try their famous curry butternut squash ravioli, a feast for the senses!
Another annual event that happens here the weekend after Halloween is Christmas Open House. Once again Victori-Ana and Mountain Rose Gifts will be closing their stores for a few days and papering their windows as the elves inside set up for Christmas 2014. This Saturday, Nov. 1, the paper will be removed and the Christmas windows unveiled. At Victori-Ana (2311 Honolulu Ave.) you can look forward to the latest Mark Roberts fairies and elves. They will also
be having a vintage linen show featuring one of a kind lace embellished towels. Marilyn’s gift wrap theme this year is gold.
At Mountain Rose Gifts (3808½ Ocean View Blvd.) you will find new 2014 Christmas collectibles and home décor beautifully displayed as Christmas music envelopes all. Mark and Wendy from Country Classics will be there to say hi as well. Yes, it’s another fun shop & dine weekend in the Montrose Shopping Park. Come celebrate with us!
