The public is invited to enjoy a Taste of the Foothills on Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Held at the Ralph’s Shopping Center in La Crescenta, the event is sponsored by the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce and over the years has raised thousands of dollars. The chamber uses part of the money raised to fund its scholarship program. Scholarships are awarded annually to deserving Crescenta Valley and Clark Magnet high school graduating students.

For a nominal donation, “tasters” will be given a wristband that allows them access to more than 20 restaurants that will be onsite. These include 7 Stop Pizza, Zeke’s Smokehouse, Baja Fresh, Baked on Ocean View, Café Lanka, Domino’s Pizza, New Moon, Oceanview Bar & Grill, Tickle Tree Café and more.

CVHS jazz band will be performing and an iPad Mini is being raffled off. For car enthusiasts, a new addition to the festivities this year is a mini car show.

Tickets for adults are $20, seniors are $18, children 5 and older are $10, and children under 5 are free. A free iPad Mini raffle ticket will be given to every paid adult and senior ticket.
