Crescenta-Cañada Cooperative Nursery School will be hosting its annual open house on Saturday, Jan. 30, from 9:30 a.m. until noon.
Families wanting to learn more about the benefits of a cooperative pre-school program are invited to come and meet the teachers and parents who work together. The entire family is invited to attend. Kids will have the chance to play and explore while parents talk to other parents who assist in the classrooms and serve on the various committees.
Crescenta-Cañada Cooperative Nursery School is for potty-trained children from 2 years-9 months through 5 years of age. The”Darling Ducklings” program is for 3-year-olds and is on Tuesday and Thursday and the “Busy Bears” program for 4-year-olds is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Class size is 15 to 20, with adult to child ratio of 1 to 5 with teachers and parent helpers.
The pre-school, which has been in operation for over 45 years, is located on the grounds of the Lutheran Church in the Foothills at 1700 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada.
