»News from the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce

November is here! The leaves are changing, the weather is cooling down, and the holidays are upon us. This also means that the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce has two very important events taking place – the Recognition Banquet and the Taste of the Foothills. Nothing is greater than more opportunities to join together as a community and make more happy memories.

Our annual Recognition Banquet is tonight, Thursday, Nov. 7 at the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club at 6 p.m. It will be a night to remember as we congratulate some of the great people who contribute to the prosperity of our community. These particular individuals have been nominated for going the extra mile; hence they will each be celebrated for their efforts. Congratulations to all and thank you for all you continue to offer our community!

Our next event this month will be the Taste of the Foothills on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the Ralph’s Marketplace Shopping Center in La Crescenta. From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. you will have the pleasure of sampling excellent cuisine from local eateries while listening to live music by the CV Jazz Band. This event is a great opportunity to raise money for your school. Stop by your school office for more details or visit our chamber office to pick up a flyer and purchase your tickets.

In addition to great food, entertainment, and fundraising, we will have a mini car show and there will be a raffle to win an iPad Mini! One complimentary raffle ticket will be given with your purchase of one adult ticket. There will also be additional raffle tickets available for sale, so you will have more opportunity to win the iPad. Tickets are $20 for adults.

Please visit our website at www.crescentavalleychamber.org/taste to purchase your tickets or get more information. You may also contact our office Monday thru Friday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at (818) 248-4957.

We look forward to celebrating this great holiday season with you!
