The Salvation Army – Glendale held its annual Kettle Kick Off Breakfast on Nov. 22. Catered by The Spot Gourmet, the breakfast launched the popular kettle collections found across the Glendale community.

According to its website, local Salvation Army units raise funds to support their local services. There is no national fund raising in The Salvation Army. Funds raised in each community, through the kettles and other activities, are dedicated to best serve the people in that community who are recovering from many kinds of personal disasters.

The Salvation Army offers volunteer opportunities to man a kettle and ring the bell. Anyone interested in taking part in this fundraising effort can call Richard White at the Glendale office at (818) 246-5586 x 133.

Help to spread the Christmas spirit! Its fun, easy, and is great for all ages! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
