Look Up at Uptown Spa

On Monday, Dec. 16, we will be having a ribbon cutting at Uptown Spa located in La Crescenta. Although this day spa has been around for a while, as of mid-November it is under new ownership. We would like to welcome and congratulate owner Ivy Bui!

Ivy Bui has been a professional manicurist/pedicurist for over 12 years. Before Uptown Spa, she worked for famous celebrities in Hollywood: Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears and Vanessa Hudgens, to name a few. She is known and recognized for her nail work-of-art, which consists of a range of beautiful different designs. Taking over ownership of Uptown Spa has made Ivy “very excited to have her own spa and to make real, personal connections with customers here in La Crescenta.”

Uptown Spa offers a variety of spa services – nail care, facial treatments, waxing, threading and more. When you walk in, you will be greeted by a friendly and caring staff. Their business model is based on customer satisfaction. It is the goal of the staff to make sure that all clients enjoy their time at Uptown Spa and are as comfortable as they can be. An effort towards this goal is by providing complimentary beverages, including sodas, water and warm delicious drinks for this cold time of the year: hot Tazo tea with many different flavors available for customers to choose from, decaf tea, hot chocolate and coffee.
