Clark Magnet High School offers students in grades nine through 12 who reside in the Glendale Unified School District a curriculum that emphasizes science and technology. The program is open to students who reside in the GUSD; are attending a public, private or parochial school; and are eligible to begin ninth grade next fall.
Approximately 350 students will be accepted into the ninth grade class. If more qualified students apply than there are openings, an electronic lottery will be conducted to fill the class.
Students entering grades 10 through 12 may apply; however, only a few, if any, openings in these grade levels are anticipated and students will be placed on a waiting list. Total school enrollment is limited to about 1,100 students.
Parent information meetings for parents from any middle school will be held at the following sites: Wilson Middle School on Monday, Jan. 13 at 6:30 p.m.; Roosevelt Middle School on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m.; and at the Clark Expo on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 9:30 a.m.
