Welcome to New Businesses and A Sad Goodbye

Untitled
The CV Chamber held a ribbon cutting on Dec. 6 for Fringe Hair Studio in La Crescenta. We were happy to welcome owner Jamie Cripe and her staff of stylists and an esthetician to our community and congratulate them on their opening.

Fringe Hair Studio opened its doors in September. And what a great location for the hair studio to choose; they are right on the south side of Foothill Boulevard between Dunsmore and New York avenus. The entire space has been completely remodeled. There is a very fresh, clean, open floor plan with a somewhat modern rustic theme. The Fringe staff is very friendly and happily willing to assist you. We welcome them to our community and wish them success. If you have any hair care or skin care needs, please stop in or call and make your appointment today!

On Dec. 11, Crescenta Valley Flower Mart hosted the December business mixer. We would like to give a very special thank you to Sarah Yegiazaryan for hosting a great evening. It was a wonderful time filled with delicious refreshments, fun raffle prizes and great company. We had the opportunity to welcome a few new members to the chamber with a presentation of a member plaque and listen to a brief description about their businesses. This month’s new members were Abe’s Lock and Key, Bodywork by Laura, and Fringe Hair Studio – welcome!

Lastly, I would like to share that this Friday, Dec. 20 will be my last day with the chamber. In my short time working for the chamber, I have had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful people. I want to thank everyone who helped make me feel right at home; the Crescenta Valley is truly a great community to be a part of. Most of all I want to say thank you to all those who volunteered their time and assistance over the past few months in the many events that occurred. It has been a fun-filled time planning the Running the Foothills 5K, Scholarship Golf Tournament, Recognition Banquet, and Taste of the Foothills, but I could not have done any of it without the involvement of the community.

Wishing you a very happy holiday season!
