In keeping with the ongoing spirit of fun that characterizes Kiwanis meetings, the Noon Kiwanis Club of La Cañada held a contest recently to determine which member could come up with the ugliest sweater possible. The obvious winner was Daryal Gant who sported the worst, gaudiest sweater with blinking lights. Contestants paraded throughout the hall to give members a close look as laughter filled Van de Kamp Hall at Descanso Gardens.
The Kiwanis Club of La Cañada meets every Wednesday for lunch at Descanso. New members are welcome.
